Mark Ruffalo Has The Cutest Reaction To People Thinking He Looks Like Noah Centineo

Mark Ruffalo addressed the similarities between himself and ‘To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before’ star Noah Centineo on Wednesday night’s episode of The Tonight Show.

“Are you aware of the comparison that people are making between you and Noah Centineo?” Jimmy Fallon asked the actor, who is currently promoting the new Marvel film Avengers: Endgame.

Ruffalo looked confused, so Fallon pulled out a photo of 22-year-old Centineo. “I wish I was that good looking,” said Ruffalo. “He might be able to play my dad one day.”

“You are that good looking!” said Fallon, correctly. “People even say that you sound alike.”

Ruffalo was still suspicious (“Come on,” he said), so Fallon played a video of Centineo talking about the comparison. “Wow. That’s amazing,” said the actor, totally floored. “He’s way better looking than I was… Are you kidding me. I wish I looked like that, I swear to God.”

The Tonight Show host also pulled out a #TBT photo of a young Mark Ruffalo—who is still beyond good looking, braces and all.

“Noah, you’re doing way better than me, pal,” said Ruffalo. “I wish I was you.”

(“There’s no teeth. It’s just all braces,…That’s what it used to be like. I’d go swimming and sink to the bottom of the pool.”)

Centineo responded to Ruffalo’s “he might be able to play my dad one day” joke on Twitter, writing, “Son?”

And then Ruffalo joked back on Instagram by posting a photo of Centineo with the caption #TBT.

Of course Fallon wasn’t the first to notice the striking similarities between the two actors. Fans on social media have pointed out in the past how much young Mark Ruffalo looks like Noah Centineo.

Though the orthodontics situation gives Ruffalo a certain…adorable je ne sais quois that Centineo—in all his coolness—could never achieve.
