Kate Beckinsale Had The Best Response To USA Today Accidentally Calling Her Kate Middleton

It’s not uncommon for media outlets to confuse celebrities from time to time, especially when said celebrities have the same first name and are both stunning brunettes.

Recently, the popular publication USA Today mistook Kate Beckinsale for her highness Kate Middleton and the actress had the best possible response.

Last weekend, Kate Beckinsale was hospitalized with a ruptured ovarian cyst.

The actress shared the news in an emotional Instagram post, thanking everyone who looked after her.

It wasn’t long before media outlets caught wind of the story and rushed to report on Beckinsale’s condition.

Among these outlets was USA Today who accidentally paired an article about Beckinsale with a photo of Kate Middleton. You know, the Duchess of Cambridge…future Queen…NBD.

And it wasn’t long before Kate Beckinsale saw the mixup and decided to respond in the best possible way.

Beckinsale wrote:

So moved and touched by all the kind wishes I have received over the last few days and staggered by the similar and worse stories my #cysters have been sending me. I am feeling much better and I hope all the other girls going through it are too. Back to resume my royal duties.. William says hi ❤️

Of course, people loved her coy response.
