Remote Worker Shares How He Works Multiple Work-From-Home Jobs —  ‘2 full-time direct deposits every Friday’

“Work from home” has become the new catchphrase after the pandemic left a lot of us unable to return to our offices.

But this work from home advocate has taken things to a whole new level.

Calie Rowe (@calirowe) has been documenting her work from home journey and she says she’s currently working two full-time jobs, both remotely.

In the video, which has more than 2.1 million views, Rowe dances with a laptop while wearing a headset. It definitely looks like she’s in the middle of a busy workday.

And she’s making bank! She wrote: “Me & 2 full time direct deposits every Friday from working 2 ft WFH jobs get along so good.”

Commenters were impressed by her hustle.

We’ve seen an explosion of work-from-home jobs over the last few years.

According to the U.S. Census Bureau, “Between 2019 and 2021, the number of people primarily working from home tripled from 5.7 percent (roughly 9 million people) to 17.9 percent (27.6 million people).”

CNBC reports that the shift to remote work gave Americans 60 million hours of their time back.

And the Great Resignation showed us that lots of people quit their jobs after being sick of things like poor pay or bad working conditions.

While a lot of people have returned to the office as the pandemic has eased, more than 15 percent of full-time workers are still completely remote. And another 30 percent of workers have hybrid schedules that mix going into the office with work from home.

Researchers wrote: “We find that employed individuals allocate their saved commute time toward leisure activities and sleeping, while reducing overall work hours.”

Workers spending leisure time alone or with family members rose by 2.3 hours, the analysis showed.

They wrote: “This added benefit of working from home — for those who want it — will be an important consideration for the future of flexible work arrangements.”

Rowe isn’t the only person advocating the gospel of working from home.

Another TikToker went viral claiming that she makes $60 an hour working four remote jobs at the same time.

Here’s Rowe’s video. What do you think? Is working from home legit?
