One of the best things about being married is sharing endless laughs with your forever partner. You adore their quirky habits and all those little things that make them unique. As a loving spouse, you usually support whatever brings them joy. But sometimes, you’ve got to draw the line. Like when a wife had to firmly veto her husband’s dream of turning their backyard into a medieval jousting arena—no matter how epic he thought it would be.
Then there’s the time a wife had to implement a strict no-singing-ABBA-songs-at-2-AM rule. Or the friend who had to put a stop to her husband’s obsession with collecting life-sized cardboard cutouts of obscure movie characters. Each of these boundaries might seem trivial, but trust me, the spouse who set them was dead serious. I’d love to have been a fly on the wall when these hilarious rules were established. It might just make you believe that true love means knowing exactly when to say, “Enough is enough!”
