You might have a peanut allergy because your ancestors had sex with Neanderthals

If you’re one of the unfortunate people who can’t enjoy the pure unadulterated mouth magic that is a Reese’s peanut butter cup it could be because one of your neanderthal relatives totally did it with a Homo sapien.

Scientists now believe homo-neanderthal entangling of the lower beards might be the #1 cause for most human allergy problems today.

US genetics company 23andme’s Janet Kelso says, “Interbreeding with archaic humans does indeed have functional implications for modern humans. The most obvious consequences have been in shaping our adaptation to our environment – improving how we resist pathogens and metabolise novel foods.”

I know, that done sound super complicated, right?
