Employees Maliciously Comply With Elitist Rules That Forbid Factory Workers From Wearing A Suit And Tie On Picture Day

Only the office workers can wear a suit and tie? Challenge accepted.

Workplace hierarchies are petty and stupid and only serve to elevate mid-to-upper-level managers who need to feel a sense of superiority over others.

Different workplaces establish these hierarchies in different ways. Some offices will have happy hours exclusive to a certain level of employee. Others will have perks like a nicer breakroom that’s off-limits to some.

This factory had a distinct way of reminding its employees that the office workers were “better” than the floor workers: picture day. Only the office workers were permitted to wear suits for their professional photos, which were hung on the wall for all to see. Meanwhile, the factory floor workers had to wear their dirty factory clothes for the photo shoot.

But a couple of floor workers fed up with the rule decided to mix things up. Scroll on for a story of malicious compliance and sticking it to the man.
