Pretty much everything you own has some part of it that you’ve never seen. I’m looking at a lamp sitting on my desk right now, and I don’t have the faintest idea what the inside of this thing is like or how it works. Refrigerators, air conditioning units, pretty much ALL ELECTRONICS. They’re basically magic. And the more you think about it, the weirder it gets – the walls around you, the mattress you sleep on. I could go on…but I won’t. Fact is, there are huge parts of the world that you just don’t know anything about.
But why should you? You’re not an AC repairman (unless you are, in which case thank GOD for you this summer).
