2. Angry right-wing conservatives bashing the wrong Red Hen restaurants after Sarah Huckabee Sanders was denied service in Lexington, Virginia.
To be clear, it’s obnoxious that people are protesting the actual restaurant chain in Lexington, Virginia which denied service to Sarah Huckabee Sanders due to her involvement in the Trump administration — but it’s even more stupid that people somehow concluded that all restaurants in the United States named the “Red Hen” were somehow complicit in this decision.
1. The President of the United States getting caught up in a lawsuit after allegedly paying off pornstar Stormy Daniels to be silent about their affair.

You can fight me on this, but I’m sticking to my guns here: the story of Stormy Daniels affair with Trump, and the subsequent NDA she signed, and the lawsuit which resulted from Trump calling her a liar, all combine to make the perfect storm of 2018. You’ve got politics, you’ve got sex, you’ve got scandals, and you’ve got people making stupid and unbelievable decisions left and right.
Pretty much embodies the whole spirit of the year, wouldn’t you say?
