New Mom Explains Why Her Husband Had To Breastfeed, For Medical Reasons

@twodears/TikTok

A mom on TikTok named Jennifer who posts under the handle @twodears has been blowing her followers’ minds with a little story about her husband sucking milk out of her tit for purely medical reasons. Though she never, ever had to tell anyone about this, her tone is very defensive. All I can think is that maybe her story will help someone else with the same experience and they’ll know about it because of how creepily accurate the TikTok algorithm is.

Jennifer says that she has been breastfeeding her baby and encountered a problem.

“This weekend, I started having pain in my right breast… I’m breastfeeding, so I figured it was a clogged milk duct, which happens frequently for some people,” she said.” “But I ended up getting a fever and it was mastitis, so I got antibiotics.”

But the antibiotics didn’t relieve the pressure and it was getting harder and harder to breastfeed the baby. She tried supplements, Epsom salt baths, and hot towels hoping to relieve the clog in her milk duct, but nothing was working. So she got even more experimental.

“I found this article – because I was just Googling and Googling – that said your partner should suck the clog out,” she said. “Mind you, I never in a million years would have ever considered letting my husband breastfeed off of me. Nor has he ever wanted to, I should clarify…And I know that that can be a kink… No. Just no.”

Hey, no need to kink shame. It probably would have been better for both of them if they had enjoyed it more because her husband was willing to do this for her.

She said, “I mentioned it to my husband. I was like, ‘Do you want to help me out? He was like, ‘I would do that for you, but I might gag, I might throw up, but I’ll do that for you.’ So we did it. We got this bowl, and we went into the side so he could spit it out.”

And it worked! But Jennifer said, “I feel like I have PTSD.”

She added, “It worked. He cleared the blockage. I feel like I can’t look you guys in the eye right now. But yeah, at the beginning, he got a small taste of it. He was like, ‘This is actually really sweet.’ But then at the end, when he unclogged it, he basically was about to gag, because it started flowing because the clog was gone. And that was enough, enough. I feel like we’re bonded for life.”

As she explained, “There are some things in marriage and having babies that you just can’t prepare for. And this is one of them.”

At least we will all remember this if it ever comes up again in our lives. Just be careful who you suggest it to, they might not take it the right way.
