A TikToker named Alena, who posts under the handle @alenayildiz, claims a woman invited her to a wedding and even picked out a dress—but then disinvited her, because she just looked too damn good. The German model has around 134,000 followers on Instagram and her recent viral TikTok has been viewed over seven million times and has tens of thousands of comments.
In the video, Alena films what looks like the view from a moving train, writing over the clip, “My close friend uninvited me to her wedding because she thought I looked too good in the dress SHE chose for me.”
Then she added, “Still took some fire pics in it tho…”
Alena shared some photos in the alleged dress, which is a sparkly strapless number featuring a thigh slit and plunging neckline.
To be honest, the least believable part of this story is that a bride would choose this dress for a friend to wear at her wedding. It’s objectively too sexy! Aren’t other women other than the bride supposed to be wearing burlap sacks or something?
Alena looks gorgeous, you can’t deny it:
Women shouldn’t be giving each other a hard time for being “too hot” and if you’re friends with a model, she’s gonna look hot sometimes. But it is quite a dress to wear to a wedding. Sorry, I know that’s toxic of me, but it’s true. Still, kicking her out is extreme. Just get the lady a shawl or something.
Some people wondered if Alena wasn’t given a chance to just change her dress for the wedding, but she claims she was turned away last minute and couldn’t get her hands on a new dress in time.
Alena didn’t even get a chance to make things right, and based on the responses, she’s probably letting this friendship go.
