People born in English-speaking countries have a hard enough time trying to grasp the English language, so you can only imagine how tough it is for people who aren’t.
That’s why the “Engrish” meme exists. Not so much to make fun of those trying their best to learn English, but to make fun of how silly it can be when you do try to learn it.
Especially for those who speak Korean, Japanese or Chinese, where linguistic styles, like the absence of definite articles, infrequent consecutive consonants, and other grammatical phenomena make for honest mistakes that are actually pretty hilarious.
