The internet has finally found its most iconic duo: model/cookbook author/Trump-hating Twitter queen Chrissy Teigen and other Trump-hating Twitter queen (and the woman with which Fox News is obsessed) Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.).
On Friday, Teigen retweeted a viral clip of Rep. Ocasio-Cortez deftly illustrating the corruption in the American political system.
Oh my god. This is just sensational. Please watch and retweet. pic.twitter.com/ackPHwAUce

After she tweeted the clip, Teigen asked Ocasio-Cortez, who she called her “hero,” if she wanted to spend Sunday night watching the Grammys with the Teigen-Legend family. (!!!!) She mentioned that there’d be pizza, seemingly to sweeten the deal, but honestly, who needs pizza when you’ve already got Chrissy frickin’ Teigen!
@AOC hello my hero, do you wanna come over and watch the grammys with us? there will be pizza

Modern Family actor Jesse Tyler Ferguson chimed in that Ocasio-Cortez could have his portion! I guess he doesn’t eat pizza?
She can have my portion!

Teigen implored him to help her convince Ocasio-Cortez to come.
Jesse will he here! help me!! tell her we are normal

But it didn’t seem like Ocasio-Cortez needed much convincing. She took Teigen up on the invitation, tweeting back, “Yes! we can live-tweet me burning something in the kitchen.”
yes! we can live-tweet me burning something in the kitchen
— Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (@AOC) February 8, 2019
Teigen responded that they both have “extremely different strengths” but assured Ocasio-Cortez that she still occasionally burns things, too.
perfect! we have extremely different strengths except I still sometimes burn things

People on Twitter were beyond thrilled at the thought of these two amazing women hanging out together.
this feels good/right.

I did not even know I could stan this hard. Should I seek medical help if it lasts more than 4 hours?

We could not be more excited about the possibility of this really happening.
