Fans Are Supporting Chrissy Teigen After A Troll Fat-Shamed Her At The Emmys

Chrissy Teigen has never been one to be stomped upon by Internet trolls, and last night’s Emmy appearance was no exception.

The model—who looked stunning in a silver gown from Zuhair Murad, which featured both a keyhole neckline cutout and sexy thigh-high split—but I digress!—took a minute between sneaking sips from her wrist flask and becoming a meme, again, to clap TF back (FROM HER EMMY’S SEAT) at a Twitter user who “with the utmost respect” asked her if she was pregnant again.

Chrissy shot back, “I just had a baby but thank you for being soooo respectful.”

Teigen welcomed her second child, Miles, with her husband John Legend on May 17.

Fans on Twitter quickly jumped to Teigen’s defense, offering supportive messages and denigrating anybody who assumes it is their business to comment on a female (or any!) body.

Though Teigen is the queen of witty retorts and husband-roastings, she’s also known on social media for her raw and oftentimes candid portrayal of pregnancy, motherhood, and body image.

Back in July, the model shared an Instagram video of her stretch marks while on vacation in Bali with her family. “I guess these just aren’t going to go away. This is my new body,” she said, while filming her thighs and lower back clad in a pair of bikini bottoms.

“Instagram is crazy. I think it’s awesome people have killer bodies and are proud to show them off (I really do!!) but I know how hard it can be to forget what (for lack of a better word) regular ol’ bodies look like when everyone looks bonkers amazing,” she tweeted.

“Also I don’t really call this ‘body confidence’ because I’m not quite there yet. I’m still super insecure. I’m just happy that I can make anyone else out there feel better about themselves!”

Anyway, the Internet is a horrible bitch.

And remember, folks! Wombs are nonya business, and never, ever ask a woman if she is pregnant! Goodbye!
