Waiting for that direct deposit from Biden? Trying to think about how you’re going to spend it? Why not read some Stimmy memes in the meantime…
Last week Congress passed a $1.9 trillion relief package that would put a third (and presumably final) round of stimulus checks in the hands of U.S. citizens who make less than $75,000 per year (or $150,000/year if married and filing jointly.)
(Want to find out when your check arrives? You can use the “Get My Payment” tool on IRS.gov to see the payment status of your payment.)
This additional $1400 payment started going out to many Americans as the country continues to seek to rebound from the pandemic, but it’s also a hilarious new meme about how people are going to spend that $1400.
Now, most who receive the much-needed checks will be spending them on necessities. But for some, the $1400 will be excess. For those, I would highly recommend investing the money wisely, however, you could also take the more fun approach and spend your money like the very funny people of Twitter, coming up with unique ways to part with the cash.
Some a relatable. Some are strange. All of them show that we as a society would probably stand to learn about how money and investments work.
The $1400 stimulus check meme template (or “Stimmy Memes template) is pretty simple:
“Bank account: +$1400”
And then it breaks down in a few ways, first…
1. Lots of people took an absurd approach to suddenly having a lot of money…

There, those kind of make up for it being only $1400 instead of $2000, right? (Just kidding.)
