Isn’t it wild to think about how nostalgic we get over clunky computers, ancient gadgets, and the early days of video games? It feels like so much time has passed, yet when you really think about it, not much has changed. Sure, today’s tech is leagues ahead of what we had in the ’80s, ’90s, and early 2000s, but is it really that different? The internet was as slow as molasses, but it was there. Computer screens could barely display 256 colors, yet they still transported us into these vibrant, pixelated worlds.
Remember when having a touchscreen was the stuff of sci-fi dreams? Or when laptops were these huge, unwieldy beasts you could barely lug around? The world is just getting more tech-savvy, and we were there to witness its humble beginnings. It’s funny, though – it makes us feel a little old, but somehow, it also keeps us feeling young.
