The Nicki Minaj and Cardi B fight at Fashion Week may have been a month ago, but their drama is nowhere near over. The two, who have been at each other’s throats (behind-the-scenes) for years, are finally airing all their beef in the spotlight.
Cardi B issued a statement after the brawl about why she had gone after Minaj, saying that the rapper not only talked about her kid but
also tried to “stop her bag.” For those of you who don’t know, it means Minaj tried to get in the way of Cardi B making more money. Rumors came about that Minaj had told rapper Future not to get on a track with Cardi.
In response, Minaj said on her radio show Queen Radio:
I didn’t stop anyone’s bags. She had to say that because she has built her career of sympathy and payola.
Now, Minaj has released an entirely new line of merch that is a direct clap-back to Cardi’s accusations that she “tried to stop her bag.” Seems like Minaj is securing her own bag with her fans because this merch is fire.
The merch reads “Queen Security Administration” and the words “Nicki Stopped My Bag.” Obviously, there’s no way this isn’t about the Cardi B drama.
Knowing how big Nicki’s fanbase is, it’s safe to say she’s cashed out on this drama.
