Kim Kardashian Blew Up The Rumor That Khloé Is The Next ‘Bachelorette’ And She’s Got Receipts

As you quite probably know, Khloé Kardashian is single now. She split with Tristan Thompson last week when news broke that he cheated on her with Jordyn Woods (yep, Kylie Jenner’s long-time BFF). The whole thing has played out very publicly so far, with people of course keeping track of who unfollowed who or commented on what on whichever social platform.

On February 22, Mike Fleiss, the creator and EP of The Bachelor/Bachelorette franchise tweeted “I have already been in contact with my dear friend @KrisJenner about @khloekardashian as #TheBachelorette. Stay tuned!”

WHAT? That’s…weird. If you watch the show at all, you know they’ve never had a full-on celebrity as the Bachelorette. How would that even work?

People on Twitter started to react, some with incredulity and others to say they were either here for or not here for the idea.

But before you start trying to figure out what hometowns would be like (can you imagine?) with Khloé Kardashian as the Bachelorette, just know that it’s not true. Well, according to the Kardashians, anyway. Kim tweeted, “Fake f*cking news big time!!!!”

For some reason, Fleiss persisted. He came back with “She’s out of the loop on this one…” and “How would @KimKardashian know??? This is between me and @KrisJenner — and most importantly @khloekardashian!!!”

 

Um, what? Okay, so is this real or not? And if it’s not real, then WHY is he doing this? For attention? As a joke? It’s just bizarre. It’s a bit soon for Khloé’s newly re-acquired singledom to be a joke to her yet.

Meanwhile, Kim was getting sick of Fleiss’ bullsh*t, whatever it was, and she called him out on it.

BOOM! PROOF! Or, if you will, receipts.

Kim tweeted a screengrab of a text convo she had with Kris Jenner and Khloé in which Khloé not only shut down the rumors, she also hilariously shaded the whole franchise with a reference to the Louisiana rapper Birdman quote: “Ewwww I mean put some respeck on my name.”

But Fleiss kept tweeting, even writing, “We have strict confidentiality agreements with all #TheBachelorette candidates. @khloekardashian couldn’t tell @KimKardashian anyway…”

Khloé was clearly over it, and tweeted, “I’m not f*cking clickbait right now. Stop or you will be hearing from my lawyers. How insensitive!!”

Fleiss then responded, “This is about helping people find true love— nothing more!!!”

But then he got personal, writing “One of the things we look for in choosing #TheBachelorette is a great sense of humor… Might be time to look elsewhere.”

Now, obviously the public knows about the breakup, but it might be a little freaking soon to expect Khloé to start joking about it. And we all know Khloé is super funny. Just look at how she reacted when Fleiss said she was going to be on his show. Put some respeck on her name, indeed.
