Kanye West Went On A Pro-Trump Rant During ‘SNL’ After Cameras Stopped Rolling

Kanye West appeared on Saturday Night Live this weekend along with guest host Adam Driver. According to reports, West wasn’t the original choice of the show for their musical guest. Instead, SNL had tried to book Ariana Grande–whose fiancé Pete Davidson is a comedian on the show–but she had canceled due to emotional trauma.
After several incidents–including being groped by a pastor on national television and the death of her ex-boyfriend Mac Miller–Grande had announced she would be taking some time off to concentrate on her mental health. Therefore, SNL moved forward with a different guest–Kanye West.

After his performance, Adam Driver closed out the show, But, West apparently had much more to say. While the network rolled credits, West was on stage with a microphone going on a pretty wild Pro-Trump, Pro-Make America Great Again rant. While fans were unable to see the feed, former SNL cast member and comedian Chris Rock recorded it and posted it on his Instagram stories.

West can be heard saying:

“There’s so many times I talk to like a white person about this and they say, ‘How could you like Trump? He’s racist,’

Well, if I was concerned about racism I would’ve moved out of America a long time ago.

Additionally, he went on to throw jabs at the “liberal media” and Democrats.

West tweeted a thank you to SNL and Lorne Michaels, saying that he was “promised to host” before the year is out.
