Joe Rogan Says The Rock Is On Steroids: ‘Not A F***ing Chance In Hell He’s Clean’

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is a beast — even at 50 years old. But is that physique natural?

Joe Rogan doesn’t think so.

In an interview with fitness podcaster Derek, Rogan expressed doubts that Johnson could naturally be that jacked at his age.

“Does the Rock say he’s clean?” Rogan asked.

Derek replied: “He has implied it pretty heavily, but he also doesn’t end up in scenarios where he gets asked point blank.”

To which Rogan shot back:

“The Rock should come clean right now…. There’s not a f***ing chance in hell he’s clean. Not a chance in hell. As big as the Rock is at 50?”

Rogan went on to say:

“There’s a responsibility you have to people who are listening to you. If you don’t want to talk about it, that’s one thing. But if you do talk about it, there’s a responsibility you have to people listening to you and I think you have to be honest about it, which is why I’m honest about it. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with taking hormone replacement.”

We should note that Johnson has admitted to steroid use in the past, saying that he tried them when he was in college.

In a 2009 interview with MTV he said, “I tried it. Me and my buddies tried it back in the day when I was 18 or 19. Didn’t know what we were doing.”

He went on to become one of the biggest stars in the history of World Wrestling Entertainment — which itself has gone through a number of steroid-related scandals over the years. Tons of top wrestlers, from Hulk Hogan on down, have admitted to using them.

Former WWE boss Vince McMahon was even indicted by the U.S. Department of Justice in 1993 on steroid charges (but he later was acquitted in a trial).

Since college, though, Johnson has said he’s been clean. He told Men’s Health that he’s got a team of chefs and a strength and condition coach to help maintain his body.

As for steroids, he told MTV that “It’s not as prevalent today in our sports as it was 10 years ago.”

He added:

“But we have to recognize that a culture was created where it was OK to do that, and a lot of team managers, owners, players who didn’t do it would turn the other cheek. We recognize that, and now we have to institute stronger penalties, which we are doing.”

Here’s a recent workout pic that Johnson posted on his Insta. What do you think?
