So you hire on as a manager and you think it’s all about strategy and leadership until every now and then you need to let people go. Sometimes there are mass layoffs for business reasons. Sometimes they are for personal reasons. Then there are the firings for the bizarre reasons.
Say for example when your employee tells a customer “GET AWAY FROM ME OR I’LL EAT YOUR FACE.” How exactly does one handle that? Or the McDonald’s employee that stole the hash browns wrappers for the monopoly pieces (to be honest I think we all wanted to do that though).
