Kanye West is back on Twitter insulting millions of people with his ridiculous political statements. On Sunday, following his pro-Trump SNL rant, West decided to post some photos sporting his MAGA hat, more pro-Trump views, and one statement that pissed almost everyone off.
Along with a photo from his private jet, wearing his MAGA hat, West stated he believes in Trump’s American, and, that we should abolish the 13th amendment. For those who are unaware, the 13th amendment outlaws slavery and servitude in America
West continued by saying that the 13th amendment was “slavery in disguise,” insinuating that slavery still exists in America.
Many people on Twitter were offended and annoyed with West’s stance on slavery–as they have been in the past when the rapper called slavery a “choice.” Among the outraged was none other than actor Chris Evans, our Captain America. The actor responded by saying:
Mic. Drop.
That’s easily the most well-worded, well-thought-out response to Kanye West’s ridiculous antics I could possibly have hoped for. And, everyone–I mean everyone–is grateful.
