Celebrities Are Roasting Kanye West After His Offensive White House Stunt

As many people know, Kanye West went to the White House on Thursday to have lunch with President Donald Trump. What was set up to be a simple luncheon with some discussion on prison reform turned into a 10-minute, bizarre, ridiculous rant from West.

West went from calling Trump his personal “Superman” to saying that he wants to design an airplane for Trump to fly in. He also said he “remixed” Make America Great Again, and wants to open factories in Chicago named after Trump.

Obviously, people all over the world were dumbfounded by West’s rant–especially celebrities. Friends and peers of West began calling out the rapper online, saying that he truly has lost it and needs to consider the bigger picture. Some of them didn’t hold back.

Diddy said West should “give him a call,” and what he was displaying was NOT black excellence.

Questlove called West out by reposting a thread that called West a liar, putting African Americans in a bad position.

Comedian Chelsea Handler said that while West thinks of Trump as a “father,” Trump doesn’t think of West as a son.

T.I. posted a long, opinionated Instagram caption, saying West was “embarrassing” and said he’s “ashamed” to be associated with him.

50 Cent straight up laughed at West.

Axl Rose called him a “joke.”

Deray said it was “gross.”

Ebro said his show was changing his entire segment to mock Kanye.

Sinbad straight up dragged him.

Chelsea Peretti called the entire situation “hell on earth.”

Geroge Takei called out West and Trump, reminding the President of the emergency hurricane happening in Florida.

As a long-time Kanye West fan–buying Colleg Dropout from FYE–I can tell you I, too, have been sincerely disappointed in him. Sure, I’m all about people having their own opinions and their own beliefs, but when you deliberately offend and insult millions of people who have supported you for years–the people who made you who you are–it’s truly telling.

I do believe West is doing this to make a stink in the media–he is producing a new album to drop in November. And, to me, that’s f**king weak. Signing off, a former Kanye West fan. 20
