In the ultimate case of “Suck it Trebek,” it has been discovered that Jeopardy currently doesn’t accept Canadian applicants.
This is baffling to say the least considering that the show’s longtime host, Alex Trebek was born in Ontario, Canada.
The Jeopardy website says the show is currently “precluded from accepting registration information from Canadian residents.”
Apparently the website also says the show is “evaluating the matter” but does not indicate why.
Media reports quote the show’s producers as saying the problem is due to international laws governing how information is shared over the Internet.
“A-Bek” could not be reached for comment.
