Oakland, California-based cartoonist Brad T. Jonas makes his 18,000 Instagram followers laugh with his unique and slightly grotesque art style, which contrasts heavily with the clean, minimalist, and cutesy art that’s most common in webcomics today. And his jokes are outlandish — he describes them as “unrelatable” — but that doesn’t mean they don’t highlight the idiosyncrasies of everyday life.
