Big news for Beyoncé fans (aka everyone): Queen B is offering free lifetime tickets to a lucky winner (or winners?) for going vegan.
On Wednesday, Bey posted an Instagram showing her “Greenprint,” which refers to how she helps reduce carbon emissions that are related to climate change. It included meatless Mondays and a daily plant-based meal for breakfast.
But what really got people excited was her caption, which reads, “What is your Greenprint? Click the link in my bio for a chance to win tickets to any JAY and/or my shows for life #GreenprintProject.”
Her bio includes the link for the greenprintproject.com, which includes a page with the official rules for the Greenprint Project Sweepstakes. There are instructions for how to enter the grand prize, which is “a pair of tickets for the winner and one guest to one (1) official scheduled tour concert during each official scheduled tour by Beyoncé and/or Jay-Z, in the United States, for the winner’s life, up to a maximum of thirty (30) years.”
The contest is a little confusing to me, because it doesn’t seem that a person has to be vegan to enter, and also, how would they monitor that? But the contest does direct people to the Greenprint website and it does get people thinking about how veganism or even partial veganism can help the planet.
