Ariana Grande Throws Shade At Kanye West After Pete Davidson Roasts His ‘SNL’ Monologue

As many people know, Kanye West has officially gone “off his meds” and off his rocker, with several controversial rants on social media and on Saturday Night Live. After being invited to the show as a musical guest, West decided to hijack the microphone (and the stage) after credits began rolling and went on a very off-the-cuff, pro-MAGA rant last week.
West claimed that the cast of SNL had “bullied him” into not wearing his MAGA hat, and tried to silence him in terms of his political views. During this weekend’s episode of SNL, comedian Pete Davidson joined the news desk for “Weekend Update” to break down what actually happened during the post-show rant, and, call West out on a lot of his statements. All in all, Davidson told West that “being mentally ill is not an excuse to act like a jacka**.”

During the shows taping, Davidson’s fiancé, Ariana Grande, apparently watched from backstage. She took a photo of Davidson on the monitor and posted it to her Instagram stories with a sticker saying “I love you like Kanye loves Kanye.”

Seeing as Davidson closed his monologue out with a “Make Kanye 2006 Again” hat, and told him that he needs to “drop his album,” it seems as though Grande is standing by his man–who clearly was not on the side of Kanye West. Additionally, Grande has gotten a lot of support from West’s wife, Kim Kardashian, after her new album Sweetener dropped this year.

Ironically, the only reason Kanye West was booked for the SNL slot was that Grande had “dropped out,” after she announced she was taking time off from performing due to the emotional trauma she had been through over the last year. Now, Grande is obviously taking sides and standing by her man, and his cast, who were outright pissed off that West hijacked their stage for his own agenda.

That’s a true ride or die right there.
