Having your parents on social media may be one of the worst things that can happen to you. Knowing that most parents are on Facebook, we keep stuff pretty “appropriate” on there. But, we all know Instagram and Twitter are where we reveal our true selves. However, some of us have parents cool enough to be on Instagram and then–all bets are off.
Now, when your parents are celebrities, you best bet that they’re going to be all up on your Instagram feed leaving hella embarrassing comments. And, while our parent’s comments may go unnoticed, a celebrity parent’s comment on your photo will blow up overnight–like Alec Baldwin’s comment on his daughter’s Instagram thirst trap this week.

Over the weekend, Ireland posted a pretty sexy thirst trap to her Instagram profile that caught the eyes of a lot of followers and fans…
…including her own father. Alec Baldwin left a simple comment that is clearly a dad comment if I’ve ever seen one.
People were laughing at Baldwin’s comment–also relating to how parenting on social media can be…pretty awkward.
Word to the wise–don’t post thirst traps on your social media if you’re friends with your parents. It’s just…uncomfortable for everyone.
