Woman Wants Adults-Only Flights After A Kid Cried Her Whole Trip, And People Are Debating
A Florida woman, Morgan Lee, recently made a TikTok after suffering through a three-hour flight in which a child cried 100% of the trip.
“Why isn’t there such a thing as adult only flights? I would pay so much money,” she asked in the now-viral video, which boasts over 650,000 views.
She continued, “The flight was three hours and I listened to this the entire time.”
“I have noise canceling headphones, the child was well over five years old, and they sat directly behind me while kicking my chair as the mother slept.”
Personally, I don’t know why she didn’t just wake the mom up and say something, but hey: that would drive me crazy too.
Unfortunately, the internet is also full of parents and BOY do they hate when someone without a kid says something about their parenting.
One person said, “And this is why people/parents/mums have anxiety when leaving the house. Because no grace is given.”
Another channeled Olivia Soprano, “Poor you. My heart goes out to you and the amount of hours you endured another human’s cries. I hope you’re better now.”
A third made the idiotic suggestion that Lee take a private plane. “They’re called private planes and you can book a private flight and pay as much as you want to have the plane for yourself.”
Ire wasn’t the only thing in the comments. As moms melted down, others noted “As a mum, I want an adult-only flight too.”
“Why is everyone so pressed?? She isn’t suggesting to throw them off board,” wrote another person.
Someone else penned, “All the commenters are the ones who let their kids scream for 5 hours like it’s doesn’t stress 200 other people out. Whatever.”
And boy do I agree with this comment: “Idk why you’re getting hate. You aren’t giving dirty looks/yelling at anyone you’re just saying you’d pay for a child free flight. People need to chill.”
