Someone Translated ‘All Star’ Into Aramaic, Then Back To English And It’s The Funniest Thing You’ll Read In The Next 3-5 Minutes

A Twitter account called Apocalypse STN (Southhampton’s biggest Alternative night!) took the lyrics for the Smashmouth song “All Star”, translated them into Aramaic and then back to English, and posted them on Twitter for all to see. The result was nothing short of absolutely hilarious, or “sheer poetry” as Apocalypse STN called it.
Pretty much everybody knows the lyrics to “All Star”, whether they’re aware of it or not. If you were alive in the 90s or early 2000s, the lyrics (or the chorus, at the very least) found their way into your head through pure osmosis. It was almost impossible (and probably illegal) to NOT know them. But they’re so much better when they’ve been put through Google translate a couple of times.

Here are the full lyrics, because the tweet cuts them off a bit.

Just in case you don’t remember the actual lyrics to “All Star”, A. what is wrong with you?, and B. check ’em out here.
