52 Hilarious Hybrid Animals Born From This Artist’s Wild Imagination And Photoshop Skill

Where the eagle-lion hybrid is the undisputed king of the photoshop jungle.

When life gave us a global pandemic, the artist behind Pixelmated Animals gave us some hilarious hybrid animals. He turned lockdown boredom into a wildly creative project that’s brought joy to people around the globe. Being raised on Cortes Island near Vancouver, Martin Bullock worked in construction and commercial fishing in the Pacific Northwest. That helped inspire his unique art style as well as some of the animals that he uses.

It all started as a fun experiment using Pixelmator, but as Mark honed his skills he migrated to Photoshop to blend and color-correct pictures to create hybrid animals. Picture this: a cat with the wings of a parrot, or a dog with the body of a fish. Sounds crazy, right? But somehow, it works, and the results are nothing short of hilarious.

His Instagram account quickly blew up, with followers eagerly awaiting each new creation. From there, custom pet portraits became a thing, especially for those who wanted to see their beloved pets transformed into something fantastically funny.
